WOw!! this is an amazing shot!

I am doing a master in translation and as a memoire we had to translate a NZ short story by Ian Wedde (paradise).
I was thinking since this photo is very good, would you give me authorisation to use it on my mémoire (with credits of course!!!) ?? :D

Nice, i'm looking at getting the IS version at some point. Whats the bokeh like @ f2.8 @ 200mm with your subject close as possible?
Any reason you didn't get the IS?

Ah nice. Yeah bokeh is pretty smooth/creamy like it should be, with little aberration(less than my other fast lenses anyway).
I never really need the IS, plus i couldn't afford it:p Its supposedly a little sharper than the non-IS? but not enough to really notice/care too much about.
