My only successful sunrise(well one that had some colour) from my 2 week trip around the South Island of NZ. Taken from out on the peninsula.

Really nice view

I actually climbed that far left side of the picture - should be Mt Fyffe... I did it three times and each time was brilliant

One time I even got to the top right before sunrise, it was nice

For me it was quite challenging, but that's me - Mount Fyffe was my first mountain top over 1 km. Some locals are using that Fyffe summit just for weekly jog
