Cave Beach Falloff by CainPascoe Cave Beach Falloff by CainPascoe
Me and ~bmjones went exploring and found this cool little cove... while theres no cave in this shot and i'm pretty sure its not the name of this place i had to mention it in the title as situated just behind this scene was, or what appeared to be, someones home made from a natural cave and stacks of rocks:o It even had a front door!

I used my 10-stop ND filter here and kept looking over my shoulder;p

The transition, and contrast between the shadows on the left, to the beautiful light on the right is great.
Lovely find, and capture of the waves Cain.

Great shot Cain. Got to the love the 10 stop with the 5D mark II. They make a beautiful couple.

Thanks Matt:) Oh yes, the noise capabilities really help with those long exposures! I hardly find it necessary to apply any noise reduction, depends how much i want to push PP really:D

Could have dropped the ISO down to about 50 and you might not've needed that ND filter :P

Hehe I tried that and at F/22 it still blew out the white water at 1/4 sec(i wanted the particular speed for effect). A polariser or ND8 would have done the trick i reckon:D

F22's a bit soft for ideal, anyway. If it were THAT f***ing bright out...ND filter indeed!

:\ I sometimes like to re-shoot my locations at different times of day to see if they turn out in a way I prefer...but 150km is a pretty stark drive to re-shoot one photo lol
