I also bought the BW 110, after using it 2 times i sold it because of this color cast and got a hoya nd400, which is really neutral!

My Hoya NDX400 has a pink/red cast, but I don't mind it :)

Interesting! Now that would be good test between the Hoya and BW;)

Alex Neil has a video tutorial on curves. He explains briefly how to get rid of colour casts using curves. It might be worth a look if it's stopping you from taking/posting rainforest shots with the filter.

I think it's always nice to see things like this. The colour cast is not bad.
I also want that filter. The Hoya ND400 is almost impossible to get here in The Netherlands. It's a pretty expensive filter though but I'm sure I'll buy it...once.

Yeah i like coming across things similar like before and afters, etc. Its not hard to fix the cast, just annoying i guess. Though sometimes i find you lose a bit of detail in the highlights when bringing back the white in them. I was looking to get the Hoya but found the B+W for nearly half the price, so you know what i got:D

Yeah that 's why I prefer the B+W above the Hoya. How much is it in Australia? In the Netherlands it can be bought for €99,= in webshops. That's 175,40 Australian Dollars.

Yeah its about that price in the shops.. but i bought mine from the US(ebay) and it worked out to be just under US$100, so approx AU$120-130 depending on exchange rate;)
